Dan
Dan is an avid Harry Potter fan who discovered Wizard Rock by accident. During the planning of PotterFicWeekly’s Yule Ball, someone brought up the fact that he should have something that he didn’t recognize called “WRock” playing. Upon the discovery that he’d never been exposed to wizard rock, Julia, PFW’s WRock guru was called in for emergency procedures. Dan hasn’t stopped listening since. He is currently pursuing a career in the theater.
In addition to Dan’s love of Wizard Rock, he also loves fanfiction and can occasionally be heard on the PwnCast-affiliated podcast, PotterFicWeekly.
Outside of Harry Potter, Dan can constantly be found screaming at the television set as his Philadelphia sports teams continue to lose year after year. A diehard Eagles, Flyers and Phillies fan, Dan knows all too well the pain and suffering that accompany the life of a Philadelphia sports fan.
Julia
Julia got into Harry Potter seven years ago. She thought it would be an easy subject for a high school term paper. Boy was she wrong. She has a BA in English from the University of Connecticut and is currently a graduate student at Southern Connecticut State University getting on her masters in English with secondary teaching certification, in order to fulfill her life long goal of becoming John Keating from Dead Poet’s Society. In the meantime she teaches preschool and loves it, though the kids do tire her out.
Julia got into Wizard Rock in May 2007 as a result of attending Phoenix Rising. That was her first real exposure to WRock, and she was fascinated with the idea of music about the Potterverse. Since then she’s been absolutely hooked. She spends a ridiculous amount of time and money buying WRock albums and traveling to Wizard Rock shows (ask her about the time she went to tree shows in three days in three different states, none of which was the one she lives in). She feels that this is all absolutely worth it because of the amazing experiences and incredible people she’s met along the way. And more importantly, Paul DeGorge knows her by name.
When she’s not cohosting PwnCast, traveling for WRock shows and cons, or working, she’s PwnCast’s resident Jew. Judaism is one of those things she sort of fell into by accident, but it’s the best thing that’s happened to her, including WRock, which is saying something. She invites you all over for a Shabbos meal to experience her awesome Jewish cooking. She also wants you to know that the baby in her picture isn’t hers.
Cody
When Cody was six years old, her aunt gave her a copy of Sorcerer’s Stone. She read it, loved it, and the rest, as they say, is history. She has been an avid fan ever since then, but has gotten more involved in the fandom in the last few years, and began listening to Wizard Rock in late 2006. She began just by listening to the “big name” bands such as The Whomping Willows, Harry and the Potters, etc. However, Cody truly began to love Wizard Rock during the summer and fall of 2007, when she became familiar with many of the smaller and newer bands that she has now come to love. Cody also writes fan fiction, usually with a distinctly Slytherin perspective to it.
Outside the world of fandom, Cody is a high school senior, who loves English and writing, struggles with Chemistry, and is considering a career in law, although she hasn’t decided anything as of yet. Cody is also interested in politics and current events, and any conversation involving either topic will usually result in her talking so much that the other person in the conversation regrets bringing it up. She has four cats, and loves to ride her bike and talk to all the great people she’s met in the fandom.

Matt
Matt lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, and first noticed WRock when he went to Terminus. A few months later Julia talked to him about it on Poufwa, and since then he got hooked. He offered to help with editing for the podcasts, and it was accepted. He enjoys football, video games, and ufc/wwe. He is currently working at a studio, where he is learning the trade of Audio Recording, and going to University of Tennessee in the fall and spring.
He’s a heavy debater, he’s on the debate team at school, he can sometimes drive people crazy over politics and just “I’m right, you’re wrong” type of debating. He has started to write Harry Potter fanfiction, usually he keeps to a very light feel, and though he is a Slytherin, he’s not very good at writing one.
He is a HUGE Tennessee Titans fan, and a big UT Football fan. He also enjoys Hockey, where he roots for the Knoxville Ice Bears.
